I am dreaming of Tulips!

I am sooo loving the stencils right now. You know how you go in phases? Well this is one of the phase things! There are just so many options with them.
Here is the other recent technique "Quite a Pear"  I share earlier.

I am going to share with you the embossed image of a tulip that was done using the Cuttlebug! Once you have created the layers for your machine and run it through, the result is a great embossed image.

So here is the card and the very easy steps to recreating it!



Step 1 Dry emboss the image of the tulip using the Cuttlebug Machine from Cricut.

Step 2 Leaving the stencil in place add color using a stencil brush. I used PanPastels by ColorFin. They have a rich color and go on smooth with very little pressure.

Step 3 Layer the image on coordinating card stock. The base layer was cut then folded in half using the Score-It-All.

Step 4 Use the punch of your choice to add the decorative edge to the card and finish assembly of the card!

Again, I love and am obsessed with the stencils right now. This stencil and the pear stencil were both provided by Dreamweaver! They have, in my opinion, the most versatile and elegant stencils on the market.

I am dreaming of Tulips!

possible class????

This is a fun card that combines stamping and using fun papers to make a simple card look very elegant. I love the paper stacks that all the paper goes together! In this case it is DCWV the Miraposa stack. I am convinced the more layers you can add the better the card or project will look.

This is a card style I may be teaching at the fun crop here in Springfield. Yes, a shameless plug. I am getting excited for this event as I have some big names donating signed projects including Pam Carriker, Lisa Bebi, Crystal Jeffrey Rieger and Tim Holtz. I have more coming in every day! Think Outside the Box!

This a really cool box that folds into little treat compartments! This was made using a Score-It. I started with the basic box using chip board.

I continued to build on this and folded 4 boxes for the inside and one more for the lid!

I made the front embellishment from polymer clay. I will try to get some step by step instructions for this project posted soon. I am also working on making some kits with full instructions! I will let you know when they are av available!

When I started scrapbooking a lot of today's kewl gadget wasn't around, what I used  for scoring was  a flat silver ware knife for scoring, needless to say I ruined quite a few cards :)

Here's the supply list:

Scor-it Mini, Coredination papers, Shimmerz Angels breath, Provo Craft Joy of the season Cartridge and Cuttlebug  5" x 7" embossing folder, holly ribbons,  Rhinestone mambi, glue dots, Uhu glue, Offray ribbons, Coredination papers,Studio G stamps, Stazon ink.

Let's Begin!
1. 5x11,Emboss the coredination paper with the Holly ribbons folder, then use scor-it for the fold.

2. Use Shimmerz to the stripes let dry
3. Use Joy of the seasons to cut the trees, then add shimmerz, adhere to the bottom of the card holder
4. Wrap ribbon around the card under the trees, add rhinestone
5. Cut a tag to stamp the sentiments, add rhinestone

Voila you are done!
