How many times do we look at the craft supplies we own and wonder how to add a new twist. I have again been working with my stencils and love the above effects. I love using the embossing paste and dry embossing but this is a fun way to use any stencil. These were done using Memory Mist by Stewart Superior.So I do not have a finished project this week but I love the looks created for positive and negative space. I also used some great texture paper by Mr. Ellie Pooh! Here is how I accomplished this look!
Set the stencil on paper.
- Spray several colors of mist over the stencil.
- Carefully remove the stencil and place it to the side.
- Take another piece of paper and lay it on top of the still "inked" stencil.
- Press paper down on the stencil gently making sure to press over the entire image.
- Remove the paper and there is your negative image.
This is scarecrow done with a different technique. Then the image below is the negative image!
