Provo Craft Cricut Cartridge Review: Pink Journey Cricut and Video

This is Joy!
I'm here to introduce you to the new Pink Journey cartridge by Provocraft for the Cricut. This cartridge is a solutions cartridge, with 50 images that also include various shadows and blackout layers to enhance them.

Pink Journey is currently only available as part of a special Expression bundle sold at Michaels that includes a brand new, pink Expression machine, as well as the Pink Journey, Plantin Schoolbook and Accent Essentials cartridges.

For each machine purchased, fifty dollars will be donated to the Susan B. Komen foundation for breast cancer research. The word art included in the cartridge would be just perfect for a poster, supporting your favorite runner in Race for the Cure: Believe, Live, Love, Fight, Walk, Run, Pink, Hope, Courage, Believe, Survivor, Celebrate Courage, Wear Pink, My Story, Breast Cancer, Remember, Race for the Cure.

In addition, there are also many gorgeous elements: butterfly, heart, swirls, flowers, sneakers, birds, women, tags, card, envelope, box, and present (see below for details):

I made a quick video showing how to make the cute little butterfly box! It would make a wonderful party favor for a wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, spring party, women's luncheon - it's just too darn cute! I found when cutting a tag to go with it, that I liked the shadowed portion of the tag to be cut 1/4" larger than the tag itself as I thought the shadow part needed more outline showing. But that is purely a personal preference! Enjoy the video!

Leave us a comment to let us know if you would like Provo Craft to make this Cartridge available after the Breast Cancer promotion is over?

Have a great day,
Joy!

I would love to get this cartridge. I do not have an E and if I get the chance, I would love to have the pink one, but if not, the cartridge should be available without it!

I too think the cart should be available separately...with some of the proceeds donated to the Susan B. Komen foundation. It's a win-win-win!

YES! As a mom of a childhood cancer survivor (age 6!), this is so needed! It would be great for fundraising, scrapbooking her journey, etc! So many wonderful ways this could be use that are NOT JUST BREAST CANCER RELATED.

Our nation turns pink so fast and seems to forget about all the other cancers out there!

YES!! It should be made available year round!! Cancer doesn't just happen once a year, its a continuious BATTLE. I work on an Oncology unit and I can't wait till this cart comes out!!!

Great cartridge...would love to see it available on it's own so those who already own the Cricut could purchase it!

Love the box and tag! TFS Joy!

I think the cart is great, but I wouldn't buy another Cricut just to get it :) SO yes, I wish they would release it, even if it is at a higher price so they could donate some of the proceeds to SGK. I would have no problem paying a little more for it just for the cause it supports!!

Exclusive cartridges are okay with me as long as they become available to everyone after a specified time.
So, yes, I hope PC gives everyone a chance to buy this one and future exclusives.

I love this cartridge, can't wait to be able to purchase it. Great video :)

This cartridge needs to be available to purchase separately after the promotion is over. I also think that some of the proceeds should go to cancer research as well.

I love this cartridge and can not afford another cricut so it sould definatly be available for purchase separatly. I would love it especially if a portion went to cancer research!

Well, OF COURSE I would like them to make this cartridge available! LOL! I am not going to be buying another cricket any time soon -DH's words, not mine- and the only way I would ever get this cartridge (& benefit Breast Cancer Research) would be to purchase it separately.

Thanks for all the wonderful videos and info on your experiences with the Gypsy! (I'm green w/envy 'cause DH said 'Not any time soon' when asked if I could get one!)

Yes! Yes! Yes! This cart should be made available after the promotion. It's a great cause but most people can't afford to buy a second machine just to get the cart. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely! There are survivors out there and people going through it that have already purchased an expression. They don't want to have to purchase the expression just to get the cartridge and the cartridge is going for $75 to $100 on ebay.

Please, please make this available to all of us! Money could still go to Breast Cancer Research.

I really enjoyed the video. It's always nice to know little tips (such as the shadowing) so you can take it into account when working with a new cartridge. I would absolutely buy this cartridge if available!

I think it would be wonderful if this cart was available. I wish I could have gotten the pink expression, but it just didn't make sense with the great price on HSN, oh well. Thank you for sharing it with us..

It would be wonderful if Provo Craft made the cartridge available to us all. I would love to own this one.

I would love to own this cartridge...if I didn't already have an expression, I would purchase the pink one to get it...but...Please Provo Craft, offer this to all of the customers who already have purchased a cricut.

Please make this available w/o the purchase of the Pink Expression. I have many needs for it. I have many family members & friends either in remission or fighting the battle of various cancer types.

Wouldn't even mind if a portion of the purchase price goes to the American Cancer Society. There are many types of cancer researches in need of funding, some of them get left behind.

I really love this cart! I have a few friends that are battling breast cancer and would love to make them something personal to lift their spirits! Thanks for the ideas.

I really really hope that they make this one available to purchase, people who have the machine should have the opportunity to purchase the new cartridges also, we really don't need 5 machines each.

Nana Jo said...

Absolutely I think Provo Craft should release this cart. Think of how much more money would go to breast cancer. Plus it's a great cart.

Sherri Benson said...

What were they thinking? Did Provocraft really think we wouldn't want this cartridge?

Of course we want it, don't we want all of them! They should make it available and continue to contribute some of the proceeds for the sale to Breast Cancer Research.

Thanks for the video you did a great job.

I'd love to win this cart. But I don't have a blog. Do you have to have a blog?

I wish they would make this available to purchase like any other cartridge. My GM is a BC survivor and I would love to make cards for her using this cartridge, but refuse to buy a whole new machine to do so.

how can they not make it availabile for all? there is such a demand for all things related to the cure. it shoudl be available to us all now.
