What is in your Closet? Styling with the 3 C's

Hi Everyone,
Happy Friday!
I picked up Vogue Magazine, Instyle Magazine, Claire Magazine, and was on inspiration overload. One of the quizz was about what is your style? Mine has always been minimalist, using Earth tone colours.
This fall the colour trend is Orange and vibrant hues according to all three I've read. I don't have any orange in my closet, however I will  venture to wear orange nail colour.
Yves St Laurent has comes out with some very very vibrant hues.

I've decided this week,  my mission to revamp my style, and my closet with the 3 C's where I feel confident, cute, and classy.
With that in mind I read from Kathryn at budget fashionista this concept of price versus how many times you will wear an item, to determine if the price of the item was worth the purchased? Which is a great concept, unfortunately I tend to be an impulse buyer..
I wish I could follow this concept for my crafting..

It helped me determine my purchased based solely on what I would wear over and over again.

Here is what I've added to my closet and will be wearing at least 10 times before December..

Did you know that Animal print is the hottest for Fall?
If you are curvy woman the style below will be very flattering on..

I also purchased in the brown..

I added a couple of shroud as well. not the dress..

This soft lacy shirt for a night out with DH, not the shroud..

I fell in love with this dress, it accentuate my curves ...

For accessories, I added this fun clutch in Fuschia...Guess what? It was only $5.00 now that scream bargain eh?

I luv long necklaces.. I had purchase a few items from Michael's to create jewelry, I will show you how I made those necklaces my own style..

What do you think? do you like any of my purchases?

How do you define your style? Do you devour the mags, do you mix and match what you already have in your closet with new items?

I made more flowers and I use Glimmer mist and a brad this time..I also sealed it with  triple thicke spray so it will not ruin my clothes.

Here's another view..

the tutorial is here

don't forget the 3 cartridges giveaway don't forget to leave comments and tell your friends... here

Have a great day,
Maggie

PS. Here's today's new shirt and makeup :)

You have chosen some lovely pieces for fall. And you have reminded me I need to re-organise my closet for the fall season as I've got some new pieces of my own to work into my wardrobe. Thanks for an interesting post!

I am totally UNfashionista. I admire people who have the ability to pull an outfit together, but I'm pretty much a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl.

Love your post today! Your $5 ruffle clutch purse is fantastic! I always love a bargain. I love animal print, but have always left it to the younger generation. Not that I'm that old! :0 I think you will be 'styling' in all of those purchases! Thanks for the flower brooch tutorial, so easy, I am trying that for sure! Have a great weekend! I'll visit again soon for more great advice!

Can relate to the "revamping", but I haven't figured out what my new style should be yet. You're off to a great start!

What pretty flowers!

Beautiful shirts. I didn't know animal prints are hot for this fall so yippee, I tend to lean toward the wild side. How I find my fashion is I rely on my 18 yr. old DD to keep me in the loop (she helps me edit my choices in the store - lol) but now she is away at college so now I'll probably be in the worst dressed category!

Everything that you've chosen is fab. And I LOVE that manicure. I love fashion, and I'm always happy to find a site that doesn't only show size 1 models.

Here (late) for the Friday blog hops! Great blog! Your newest follower. Hope to see you at Dropped Stitches!

Maggie, I have to say that the color yellow looks amazing on you! It's one of my favorite colors to wear in the summer when I have a tan and one of my favorites to wear in the winter when I'm feeling gloomy and need to brighten things up!
